International Impact Book Award for Wembly the Pug

This past weekend I flew out to Phoenix, Arizona and was honored to get to accept my first award in the category of Children’s Books: Inspiration & Motivation for The Adventures of Wembly the Pug: Wembly’s First Day of School at the International Impact Book Awards. The award looks beautiful and makes me so proud of the work that went into creating this character and wonderful series!

Being able to share Wembly the Pugs message of courage and family through some fun media interviews, meet with so many talented authors and learn about their fantastic stories from all different backgrounds and genres, and to walk on stage to accept the award on behalf of The Adventures of Wembly the Pug, my amazing illustrator, Antonella Fant, and the awesome team of family friends and people that helped Wembly get this far!!
